CaseManager?
A client computer need only have
Windows Remote Desktop software and an Internet connection. Windows Remote Deskop
software is available for all versions of Windows, as well as Mac OS, Linux.

CaseManager
is available from any computer with an Internet connection.
What
are CaseManager's system resource requirements?
CaseManager is accessed remotely, and therefore has no resource requirements on the client machine. A client computer need only have the Windows Remote Desktop software and an Internet connection.
What
are CaseManager's bandwidth requirements?
CaseManager
utilizes Windows Terminal Services - a bandwidth-friendly "thin client" solution
that sends keyboard strokes and mouse clicks to the server
and screen refreshes back to the client. KidSmart recommends that clients
allocate 20 kbps of their available bandwidth per concurrent
user for normal CaseManager operation.
How
do I obtain, install, and configure the ICA client software?
The Windows Remote Desktop software is
available as a free download.
Are
connections to CaseManager secure?
All connections
to CaseManager are 128-bit encrypted. Higher encryption levels, as well as VPN solutions, are also available. In addition, every user
has unique logon credentials and is uniquely identified in
the system. At logon, a customer-specific security profile
is applied to ensure that the user had the appropriate level
of data access and system functionality.
